TBILISI, GEORGIA - No more rumors! Now we know: Robbie Williams has announced that he will give a concert in the Republic of Georgia. He will play the Tbilisi Dinamo Arena on May, 27th.
The Dinamo Arena, also known as Boris Paichadze Stadium, is just the perfect place for this Robbie Wiliams concert. Located in Georgia’s capital city Tbilisi, is home to FC Dinamo Tbilisi as well as the Georgian national rugby team and national football team. The Arena was completely renovated in 2007 and can take up to 54,000 spectators. (Address: 2, Tsereteli Ave. Postal Code: 0112)
Georgia has been the location for many great concerts and events in recent years, many of them taking place in the sub-tropical town of Batumi on the Black Sea coast.
Tbilisi has plenty of comfortable hotels to choose from, and you don’t have to go there for the concert only. The city has a long, rich history and offers many sights and sounds to enjoy. It’s unique character is due to the location on the Silk Road and the crossroads between Europe and Asia. Another reason to stay for a while are the many restaurants where you can enjoy the unique Georgian food and wine, as well as music, song and dining traditions.
Because Georgia is a relatively small country, you can take day-trips from Tbilisi and climb the impressive Caucasus mountains or go for a swim in the Black Sea.
Georgia invites guests to come and see Robbie Williams – and the country!
